Tait offers improvised lecture theater to University

Canterbury University engineering students who helped with the Earthquake clean-up are resuming their studies today thanks to the use of Tait office facilities. "The University has made a major contribution to Tait success and its reputation for innovation and engineering excellence. This was our chance to give them something back and we're happy to help," said Frank Owen, Managing Director at Tait Radio Communications.

“当我们得知学院Engineering courses were being disrupted because of damage to the University's lecture theaters, it seemed a natural step to offer the Tait training rooms on the Christchurch campus. We are also hosting researchers from the world-leading Wireless Research Centre which Tait has supported since its launch," concluded Frank.

The School of Engineering has organised second and third year classes in the 120-seater improvised Tait lecture theater. Many Electrical Engineering students in the past have gone on to get summer placements with some of those going on to secure a permanent job at Tait.
