ARMER network approves Tait radios
最小值nesota public safety personnel and emergency responders utilizing the Allied Radio Matrix for Emergency Response (ARMER) state-wide radio communications system will benefit from the open standards promise of P25 digital technology with the addition of Tait Radio Communications to the approved subscriber manufacturer list.
The approval means agencies using the ARMER network can immediately incorporate Tait's 9100 Series of P25 digital portable and mobile radios in their fleets with the assurance of interoperability provided by the P25 standards.
"An immediate benefit to network operators and users who are embracing and leveraging open standards is the sudden availability of choice," says Steve Cragg, President Tait Radio Communications - Americas. "Operators once locked into a single vendor's portfolio are now free to select from a wider range of manufacturers while achieving interoperability, spectrum efficiency and cost economies."
Tait, a long-time advocate of open standards communications, was one of the inaugural land mobile radio manufacturers to participate in the P25 Compliance Assessment Program (P25 CAP). The Company operates a P25 CAP program laboratory recognized by the U.S. Federal Government in its Houston, Texas Americas headquarters.
"We're delighted to become a provider to ARMER and its users. Public Safety agencies find Tait to be a company that's eager to listen, easy to do business with, and a provider of high-quality, competitively-priced infrastructure, terminals, applications and service solutions," concluded Cragg.
